shoppin~
FRIDAY 30 Mari went to the body shop sales in the afternoon with Mitchelle and it was crazy!! soooo many people!!! don't they need to work?? i reached there after 2pm and whoa! what a crowd! i bought 3 products for $30.25, the original cost before any discount was $70.70!! about 50% savings~!! so happy~~~~ no pics.. ^-^
and before going for the sale, i also went for a haircut at far east plaza and i bought this....
a 1000ml shampoo which cost $56...
my stylist recommended me for my oily scalp.. not so sure if its really good, but it really smells nice! Mitchelle is also using this product and she said that its not bad... i tired it once today and well, my scalp wasn't oily.. but it made my hair quite dry despite that i applied hair mask!! :~( think i will only use this once a week..
as this is a really BIG bottle, i transferred some into a small bottle for my bf to try.. hope it works well for him!! any one interested? pass me a empty bottle and i can sell you the shampoo from $1 (depending on the size of bottle ^-^).
SATURDAY 31 Marbf and i went to Square 2 (Novena MRT) and Velocity... to my disappointment, there was nothing much to see/buy.. waste my time!! the magazine bluff me!! i read a advert of the Square 2 and the mall seemed to be rather promising!! *grumbles*
while the shops at Velocity are all open (i think), most of the shops over at Square 2 are still vacant.... almost all shops at the level one are opened whereas only a handful of shops are opened at level 2, 3 and 4.
but anyways, i still managed to get something...
erm, this is not a paint brush.. its a brush to apply face mask.. ^-^ i tried using it just now, its quite good! it cost $7 from skin food..
although i can get similiar "mask brush" from sasa at around $2.50, i got this instead as skin food's brush seemed to be of better quality.. and not to mention that it looks better too!
this is called "jjajangmyun" also known as black bean noodle.. ^-^ i got to know of this noodle thru korean dramas (the actors/actress always order this dish for delivery) and in this paticular drama called "Couple of Fantasy". in the drama, the lead actress was an ardent fan of jjajangmyun.... when she was eating the noodle, my mouth was watering.. haha..
furthermore, juehui told me she ate this noodle when she went to korea!!!
so when i saw this at the korean "mini-mart" in Square 2, i bought 1 packet to try... (bf also bought 1 packet). its quite expensive, $1.80 per packet.. hopes it is really nice!!! don't want to waste my money for nothing!
in this "mini-mart" is actually a combination of a skincare/cosmetics shop and a mini-mart. one side of the store sells korean brand skincare and cosmetics from dodo club and at the other side is the mini-mart.
there are quite a variety of products available, ranging from frozen food to drinks to junk food to instant noodles. needless to say, all are korean products. not so sure about the price because i wasn't very interested in anything except the jjajangmyun. will update once i tried the noodle!!
in the store i also noticed that they see mirrors (pocket mirrors and those with handles) and pointed combs that looked exactly the same as the ones sold at Anna Sui!!!!!! (the hand held mirrors also looked like the one i bought from the face shop last year.. )
the mirroors are sold at 1/2 the price of Anna Sui... quality wise, Anna Sui wins.. but that's beside the point. the main point is, the design of the black handle mirror, black pocket mirror and black pointed comb is the same!! too bad they don't sell the black hair brush, otherwise i will likely buy it..
the hand held mirrors sold there are very pretty!! got sliver ones!! very very nice!! quality wise, the hand held ones are better than the compact mirrors.. so go grab them!! the shop is at level 3!!

the past one week hasn't been very kind to me.. for starters, my pc became siao siao....... i couldn't connect to the internet despite not doing anything (ie. i didn't fiddle with the passwords or the settings). just outta the blue, when i was watching my video clips, my internet connection gave way and cannot be revived. i called the singtel technicians, but they aren't much help, no matter what the told me to do over the phone didn't do anything to "stimulate" the internet connection back to life!
you know what's the weirdest thing? all the other pcs' and notebook's internet connection are working fine except mine!! sickening!!!
my last option was............... to format my pc.... so now, my pc/internet connection is working fine (for the moment). i really hate dealing with these stupid IT-related problems!! argh!!!!

bf took leave (not because i asked him to, but because he was sick of working) and we went out on a date... to watch mr bean's holiday... the movie was well... at best, moderately amusing and forgettable.. doesn’t live up to my expectations at all…
after the movies, we went to walk around (btw, we went to vivo city) and i really really really was very tempted to buy the anna sui boar bristle hair brush.. which cost a bloody fortune.. at $69, it’s the MOST expensive hair brush i ever seen!! there’s another hair brush (foldable) which cost $39… i wanna buy!! but i am too niao to buy such expensive brushes for my hair.. *sigh* any kind soul willing to part with $69 to get the hair brush for me??? my bf would not.. he’s also very niao… he’s much more niao-er than me.

we then went to body shop where i looked at their hair brushes which i found to be lacking (in terms of looks of the brush, no fancy designs at the back of the brush nor at the handle) so we exited the shop and i wanted dragged him over to crabtree and evelyn.. and then we walked passed l’occitane…
and i exited the shop $42 poorer with a lip gloss and a solid perfume from the cherry blossom collection… it smells so sweet and heavenly!! i would classify this scent as a feel-good fragrance!! i wanna get the cherry blossom perfume too!! lemmings!! have to save up first.. it cost $79.
you know, i realized that my bf very rarely initiate to pay for my purchases unless i plead with him… yar yar, i know that its my bad to want him to pay.. but then, isn’t it nice when someone offers to pay for you instead especially the someone is your bf? it would be nice if he one day offers to pay for my stuffs without me asking him to……
i do feel bad to ask him for gifts, but i loved been pampered… the selfish me.. but then again, who doesn’t like to be pampered with love or with gifts?? sometimes i do wish that my bf would be more romantic and give me surprises (gifts not anything else!! i don’t think i can tahan any other kinds of surprise!!!) mmm.. its been a long long time since he bought me a surprise present..

EYE PROBLEMdown with some irritating eye problems since yesterday.. or since saturday maybe? on saturday my right eye was just feeling uncomfortable and a little red.. but after a few hours it was ok.. so i wore my contact lens and went out..
when i removed my contacts a few hours later, my right eye were red.. but feeling ok.. but as the night wore on, my right eye became increasing uncomfortable.. but i thought it should be alright the next day.. as i have sensitive eyes and they kept bothering me every now and then!
sunday morning came, and i woke up with puffy eyes (both eyes), blood-shot and watery right eye.... -___-" totally sickening.. what a "great" start to a sunday............ my watery eye is not water, but based on past occurances on my visits to my GP, its some kind of fluid that is trapped in the eye due to something or other.. this excess fluid makes my eyes shiny.. the fluid is trapped at the inner and outer corners of my right eye, making it feel weird..
thoughout the day, my eye "condtion" got better and got worst.. sometimes it felt alright, but other times its irritating the hell outta me!! i had my hair tied up, my fringe clipped up to avoid further irritation and i look like a siao za bor.. bf might beg to differ because i always look pretty in his eyes..... right??!!
*meancing look*this morning..... my right eye is still a little puffy.. and the fluid is still there (but lesser), and its only at the outer corner of my right eye.. my left eye is perfectly alright...
my papa (and some others) may blame it on my contact lens, but i don't think it is so! this condition only happen frequently on my right eye.. and i think left eye only once.. i use the same kind of lens for both eyes, some solutions, same everything! so by right it should happen to both my eyes right? i blame it on allergies, or dust or some minute something or other than went into my eye... and i am not going to the doctor... my GP charges me $30++ for some oral medication and eye drop... so freaking ex!
DIY GRAPE YOGURT MASKtired out a new kind of mask yesterday.. what i used are:
- grapes
- plain, unsweetened yogurt
i took 2 big red globe grapes, halved them and squeezed out the juice, mixed some yogurt in, and applied on clean, cleansed face. i left it on for about 10-15 minutes,and washed it off. what i get is a soft, bouncy AND red-splotched skin.
was horrified to get the red splotches on my cheeks and nose, but there's no biting/burning sensation or anything.. so i left it alone and a few hours later, the splotches were all gone, but my skin still felt soft and oil free! i applied the mask on bf too, and he likes it (although me both were not crazy about the smell). he too got the red splotches but its went off a few hours later.
depite the splotches, i will surely do this mask again...

i just received a package from japan this morning, from a fellow cotter who kindly helped me to purchase some cosmetics from a brand named "Kiss", which is not available in Singapore... i can't help but to get bewitched by its cute and pink packaging~ so lovable~~
i also bought a eyeshadow from another brand "KATE" which is a sister line of Kanebo. this brand though is available in Singapore, but the range sold here is very very limited.. and old....
i bought 1 mascara, 1 eyeliner pencil, 2 eyeshadows palettes, 2 blushers, 1 face shimmer powder, 1 lip balm, 1 nail art polish.. not alot actuallu.... hehe..

over the weekend, i bought myself with a new set of bedsheets.. so pretty!! its the 1st time i bought myself such expensive sheets.. my mama usually buys them from those markets..
