My current fave songs

I recently became a fangirl of the girl group T-ara... Lol~ One of their snogs which is very hot on my playlist recently is T.T.L 2 short for Time to Love 2 (there's a version 1, but not as popular as version 2) which one of my friends commented that it sounded like an "ah lian song". -_-"

Hope you'll enjoy the clips!

T-ara & Supernova - T.T.L 2 (Time to Love 2) on SBS Inkigayo 27 Sep 2009

Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair Brush Set

Bought these at Sephora about 2 months back... *sheepish grin* They are sooo soft and fluffy!!

Unfortunately, I haven't tried them yet, because I can't find time to "bath" them. I always try to wash my brushes before I use them. Not sure if its the right thing to do but I find it more hygienic this way.

Gmarket

In September, I bought a pair of heels (among other things), but since its already November, I thought I might just skip posting the other stuffs I bought and only show you guys the heels.

Really cute heels right?! I am saving them for my cousin's wedding in December to match with my new dress. Hehe~
I bought size 24 this time (although my size is 23.5) because the previous time I bought a pair of size 23.5 flats, it was too tight >< . So this time, I bought half a size bigger! Luckily for me, 24 fits me quite well! :D Yay!

Gmarket Haul

This was actually hauled some time in October but I didn't have the time to crop the photos and blog about it. :x

In the month of October I think I actually hauled a lot of stuffs... My credit bill came last week and I almost fainted! x_x

See the black packages at the bottom right?? Those are actually tee shirts that I bought from a new seller (new as in I have never bought anythings from this seller not a new seller in Gmarket). The quality are pretty good but slightly too big for me.

I bought some cleansing tissues from Mamonde as I have almost used up my second pack of the Etude House cleansing tissues and I wanted to try something from Mamonde.

Mamonde is fronted by my favourite actress Han Ga In! So I must show support for her! ^^

I got the Happy & Smart Cleansing Tissues which contained 80 sheets! I don't really remember how much it cost me but it should be more than US$10 I suppose.

And I also got two baked eyeshadow trios from Etude. They look so pretty in the pan! Haven't swatched them yet... I have to follow my first-in-first out rule, so I have to use other eye shadows first. One thing I don't like is that it doesn't come with any applicators!

From Etude House, I got another of the oblique shading brush, the new Collagen Moistful Eye Cream and two more of my favourite Mild Cleansing Milk!

Frankly, I am absolutely disappointed with the Collagen Moistful Eye Cream! My eye make does not go on smoothly and it made my under eye make up patchy... :(

And I think I am allergic to it or something... Not that it stings my eye area or anything, the allergic "result" isn't that immediate. That's what so scary about it. I wake up in the mornings with red and puffy eye lids and the corner under my brow bone became rough... But the day I stopped using the redness and puffiness stopped. But the roughness is still there though... Think it might need some time before it "recovers"... :(

Moving on, these are my freebies~ However, they are of no use to me... The anti-aging range... Will be donated to my mother as part of her birthday present! Haha~~

I also got the Mamonde Total Solution Smart Moisture Eye Cream. Think it cost 22,000 Won?? ITs one of the more pricy items I bought this time. I caved in and bought it because of the words "smart moisture"... My eye area has been pretty dry of late...

I have not tried yet because of the "result" of the Etude House Collagen Moistful Eye Cream, letting my eye area recover first before I try any new stuffs.

The seller is very generous and gifted me with 5 freebies even though I only bought 1 item!~

Lastly, I bought more items from the brand amileamila. Buy 2 eyeliners and get a nail polish and lip gloss free.

Unfortunately, the eye liner (I tried only one, giving another one away as gift) is not waterproof.. Smudges in about 3 hours. However, I like that the eye liner is the automatic kind, saves the trouble of sharpening and the other side is the smudge tip!

Oooh! The lip gloss looks very very pretty in the tube! The color is PK03! Initially I wanted to give it away, but I really like this pink!!

Clinicare Haircare - Short Review

There are three series for Pantene Clinicare:-
  • Time Renewal

  • Full & Thick

  • Frizz Defense
My review will be on the Time Renewal shampoo, conditioner and one-time wash-off treatment (I bought the frizz control shampoo and conditioner too but have yet to try them).

I wash and conditioner my hair everyday, and I use wash-off treatment about once a week if I am not feeling lazy, and sometimes I use treatments twice a week. All depends on my mood and condition of my hair.. :) And ooh, I use leave-in conditioners daily, before I blow dry my hair.

Just using the shampoo and conditioner together leaves my hair very soft and silky (but still a little frizzy the next day) and using the wash-off treatment after the conditioner leaves my hair even softer and silkier! Should I describe it as silk-like?? Haha~ Totally love this range! ^^

The only thing I don't really really like is the smell... The smell is not too overpowering but yet........ Eeeerrm... Not too sure how to describe the smell.. Lol~ To me, nothing smell as nice as Origins haircare stuffs!

Not too sure my hair is being "renewed", but my hair is much shiner after using them. However, I still spot plenty of split-ends and damaged hair. ><>
Another good thing to note is that, after washing and conditioning, it does not leave my scalp oily nor my hair limp and heavy despite this range being highly moisturising!

BHG Sale

Yes! That's right! I went shopping again :p

2 days ago, BHG was having some private sale event for the card members, so my friend and I decided to head on down to check it out. Upon reaching the shopping mall, we split up and headed off to the section of our interest.

I picked up a pair of low heels, the colour is actually prettier in real life but my camera doesn't seemed to be able to capture it. x_x

Kanebo was having a direct 20% rebate, while some other counters were having 10% rebate in the form of vouchers, so of course I had to grab some stuffs from Kanebo!!

Actually, I only bought the items that had been on my mind for some time but didn't get around buying them because I feel that the the prices doesn't justify if there are not discounts.

  • KATE Gel Eyeliner in BK-1
  • KATE Wax Mascara in BK-1
  • Coffert D'or Designing Mascara Base
  • Coffert D'or Make Up Concealer in MBE
  • Coffert D'or Eye Shadow Base in #02

I was really lemming for the KATE Gel Eyeliner in BK-1 for the longest, for I already own a KATE Gel Eyeliner in BK-2 (the one with glitters) and I really loved how it lasts on my eyelids without fading and smudging but the other think I don't like is that the glitters are hard to wash off.

I also got a bag and some Blanchir skincare deluxe-size samples as gift with purchase. :)

I also got some eyeliners (and a mascara) from the brand Stage. My friend recommended me their eyeliners and since they are going at $10 each, I have to try them! Lol~!

I got different colours for the eyeliners, which are:-

  • #04 Pewter Performance (a nice blue-black which is their best-seller)
  • #02 Broadway Brown (a deep brown)
  • #07 Teal Theater (a deep green)

I got the boring brown eyeliner because I needed a deep brown eyeliner. For the past few weeks, I was looking around Gmarket for a waterproof, long lasting yet cheap deep brown eyeliner and this seemed to be the answer to my prayers! Haha~

I also got their best seller mascara called the Angel Lash in #01 Ebony Eternal which doesn't cost $10 but it was on 30% direct discount (usual price is $20). Very affordable, even cheaper than the KATE mascara!!

The eyeliners are waterproof and I believe they are smudge proof as well, because after I have swatched them at the back of my hands, they cannot seemed to be rubbed of, unlike the L.A. Girls eyeliner which were rubbed so so easily (but they were soooo cheap! About $4 before discount!!!). My friend told me that the Stage eyeliners are very good for lining the waterline! Hope it works for me toooo~!! ^-^

My stuffs

A few days ago, my company invited a couple of financial advisers down to give us a talk about wealth management, they were talking about assets and such, and I thought that the only assets I own are my makeup! Hahaha! So maybe its time for me to show people my “assets”!

Here's what are on my vanity table.

Very neat right?! I try to keep it uncluttered, keeping only items I will be using the next day or items that I use frequently in the box (its from Muji). The small white round case contains my earrings.

Some of the items in the box (as shown in the above picture) are RMK Face Protector, RMK Creamy Makeup Base, Too Faced Glamour To Go palette, Too Faced Eye Shadow Duo Lovey Dovey, Etude Bloomade blush #2 Azalea Bloom, VOV Show Case Ball On Cheek #3 Suri Pink, Etude House Top10 V-Line Maker, Kiss Mat Chiffon Powder and many eyeliners.

Here's where I keep the bulk of my cosmetics and hair care products. There are actually some more items (a few makeup items, mascaras, eyelash curlers, the brushes and skincare I'm using currently) but are kept behind the mirror on my vanity table. The mirror can be slide open to reveal more storage area.

I still managed to squeeze in most of my worldly possessions in the 11-tier (6+4+1) storage boxes. The blue box below contains items that are already past their shelf life but I cannot bare to throw.

Here's a close up of what I use to keep my hair in tip-top condition (OK, I lied, my hair isn't in tip-top condition :p). And my body sunblocks (Johnson's Naturally White Daily UV Lotion and Nivea Moisturising Sun Spray).

I tend to prefer Japanese brands for hair care products, currently I am using Ma Cherie End Cure Milk, Liese Styling Water for hair dryer, Liese Juicy Shower, Paul Mitchelle Super Skinny Relaxing Balm, etc.

I will start off from the 6-tier storage box on the left.

The first drawer from the top contains most of my base makeup, my powder foundations, makeup bases. You can see that there's I am using Shiseido, Esprique Precious, Givenchy (my Lunasol one is below the Shiseido).

The next drawer contains my eyeliners, I have Clarins, KATE, Canmake, Tiffa, Majolica, etc.

Next drawer is where I house my Urban Decay Book of Shadows and Too Faced Glamour To Go palette.

This is supposedly to be where I keep my lip stuffs but in the end, it ended up as a storage places of sorts.. Haha~

Then here's my Everyday Minerals samples, Lunasol highlighter and Revue loose powder.

Here's some miscellaneous stuffs, measuring tape, scissors and the Winnie the Pooh pencil case contains my stuffs for grooming my eyebrows.

Moving on to the 4+1 tier storage drawers on the right.

The top drawer contains mainly eyeshadow singles, there are Castledew, Etude House, NYX, Majolica, etc.

The next level houses my eye palettes, all Japanese except one. There are a few from Majolica, Fasio, Media, alot from KATE, and one from Banila Co, etc.

Some more eye palettes in the next drawer...

More eye palettes...... I LOVE eye shadows! ^-^

The Hello Kitty is a christmas present from my colleague. :)

Lots of concealer in this drawer... I have Bobbi Brown, Jadilla J, ZA, KATE, etc.. There was a period of time I was very into concealers :x hahaha~

A bird's eye view of the drawer of my vanity... My lip glosses, lip sticks, blushers, cotton pads, perfumes, etc...

A close-up picture of my lip stuffs...

I have Lunasol, P&J, Kiss, Jadilla J, Testimo, Clarins, etc.. Really really like my Lunasol lip gloss and P&J lip stick! If I did not have so many unopened lip gloss/sticks stashed away, I would have bought more!!

The first and second level of my blush collection... Etude House, Lavshuca, Givenchy, VOV, Canmake, Etude, etc.. The pictures seemed to be overexposed.. Oops! @_@

I've never shown anyone this, here's a sneak peak of my unused and unopened makeup (on the left), sheet masks (center bottom) and skin care stuffs (on the right). :x On the right bottom are lots of skin care samples. :xx

Don't think I can ever finish using them... But this wouldn't stop me from buying!

My masks, scrubs, 2 boxes of ampules and some other miscellaneous stuffs are all stored in this drawer...

Lastly, here's picture of my cuties!

Hope this post didn't bore you!
